40 ICT Officer Positions Available at the Ministry of ICT, How To Apply

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced job opportunities in the Ministry of Information Communication and Digital Economy, with 40 vacant ICT officer positions available in the state department focused on ICT and digital economy.

In a notice released on Tuesday, September 17, the PSC detailed that candidates can find all vacancy information on the PSC website at www.publicservice.go.ke.

“The details of the post and mode of application can be accessed on the commission’s website,” stated the PSC notice. Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the PSC’s official portal.

Application Deadline: October 8, 2024

Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Digital Economy, Dr. Margaret Ndung’u, emphasized the importance of applying online at www.publicservice.go.ke or through the jobs portal at www.psckjobs.go.ke before the deadline of October 8, 2024, at 5 p.m. East African Time.

This job announcement follows the recent unveiling of 400 internship opportunities by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority under the Digital Talent Internship Programme (PDTP). The government is seeking young, talented Kenyans passionate about ICT and public service.

“The objective of the programme is to develop and prepare young ICT graduates for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the ICT sector and beyond,” the notice explained.
