36th Kenya Homes Expo Kicks Off at KICC, Emphasizing Smart Living

In his keynote address, John Biwot, Deputy director of the State Department of Housing reinforced the government’s commitment to supporting the real estate sector, particularly in the quest to provide more affordable housing options for Kenyans.
“Our collaboration with private stakeholders is crucial in addressing the housing deficit our nation faces. Together, we can develop innovative strategies that not only enhance the quality of life for our citizens but also stimulate economic growth,” he stated.
Daniel Ojijo, founder of the Kenya Homes Expo, also commented on the role of government support in fostering industry growth.
“The government has been incredibly supportive of our efforts to innovate in the housing sector. With their assistance, we are able to bring together industry players and create a platform for collaboration that is essential for providing affordable housing solutions,” Ojijo said.
